MixTape makes mixing music and publishing directly to iTunes or the Web easy and beautiful.

MixTape makes mixing music easy and beautiful. You drag/drop music directly from iTunes or the finder. MixTape adds it to the library and and detects the beats in your music. You can then drag music from the library and either set a beat grid or use it for a 'snap to grid' effect that beat matches your music. Perfectly. The is not the traditional "record players and mixer" arrangement that DJ software has but instead makes a timeline similar to an audio workstation and completely in tune with the OSX look and feel. Finally you can export your mix either directly into iTunes or make a web hosted mix with no additional software, accounts or cost.

Pro users can play live with a true dual stereo output, and may work with uncompressed files.

MixTape is easier to use and the timeline based work surface is unique within the "dj software" industry. User education is done almost entirely through short video tutorials. Web publishing is far easier than on other software.
